Try this creamy Tuscan chicken with penne pasta recipe for a simple weeknight meal. Made with chicken breast and spinach in a creamy tomato and garlic sauce. It goes perfectly with cooked penne pasta or any pasta of your choice.
This recipe is easy to throw together and one of my favorite go-to dinners. I like to serve it with a loaf of fresh homemade French Bread.

Ingredients
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- salt
- pepper
- oregano seasoning
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- small container of cherry or grape tomatoes, sliced in half
- cooked penne pasta
How to Make Creamy Tuscan Chicken with Penne Pasta
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Wash and drain spinach and tomatoes, set to the side.
Slice chicken breast and season with salt, pepper and oregano.
Add olive oil to a skillet and heat, add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, until done. Remove chicken and set aside.
Add butter to skillet and add tomatoes, cook for several minutes then add garlic.
Add broth and heavy cream and cook on low for 5 minutes
Place chicken back in skillet add spinach and 1/2 of parmesan cheese and continue to cook on low for 5 minutes.
Use leftover parmesan cheese to garnish.
Serve over pasta

30 Minute Creamy Tuscan Chicken with Penne Pasta
Ingredients
- 2 boneless chicken breast sliced
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 4 garlic cloves crushed
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tablespoon oregano
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups fresh spinach washed and drained
- cherry tomatoes washed and sliced in half
Notes
- Cook pasta as directed
- Slice chicken breast and cover with salt, pepper and oregano
- Add chicken to a heated skillet with olive oil and cook for 5-7 minutes. Remove when done
- Add butter to skillet
- Add tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes on low
- Add garlic
- Add chicken broth and heavy whipping cream, cook on low for 5 minutes
- Add cooked chicken back to skillet and stir in spinach and half of the parmesan cheese. Use the other half to garnish
- Cook on low 5 minutes
- Serve over pasta
